PRIMORDIAL

The textiles, form, and colors of this garment were inspired by the early work of American painter, Richard Pousette-Dart.  He often worked with abstract shapes, strong contour lines, and random gestures.  Most of his early work can be described as primitive and mysterious.  This piece is an interpretation of his paintings in the form of a garment.
